Cloud Strike
A rogue regime holds the gulf corridor. Radar posts, a SAM battery and a command bunker keep the occupation standing, and prisoners of war are held in a camp to the east.
You fly the AH-64. Fuel and ammunition run out. Plan the route, pick up supplies with the winch, and bring everyone home alive.
What you're getting into
An isometric attack helicopter run in the spirit of the 90s classics — Desert Strike above all. One mission, four objectives, and a map you cross at low altitude while the desert shoots back.
Three things decide whether you make it:
Ammunition is counted. The chain gun is generous, the Hydras less so, and you carry eight Hellfires. Spend them on the wrong target and the bunker survives.
Fuel drains. Barrels are scattered across the map. The winch that lifts prisoners is the same one that picks up supplies — and every hostage you deliver to the LZ repairs your armour, so the rescue run is also how you stay alive.
The SAM gives you a warning and a moment. When the lock alarm fires you have about six tenths of a second to break away. Learn that window and the battery becomes survivable.

Where this is
This is chapter one, and the game is in development. One playable mission, complete end to end. Sound is synthesized in the browser — there isn't a single audio file in the build.
Next up: a real audio engine, better terrain, and more of the map.
I'd like to hear from you as a player. Does the difficulty feel fair? Does the helicopter respond the way it should? What was missing? The comments below are open.
How it was made
Built with Claude, start to finish — the name is a tribute to both Claude and Desert Strike. I wrote about the process in detail, with the numbers, the mistakes and the before-and-afters:
This project contains content produced by generative AI.
Gaste no alvo errado e o bunker sobrevive.
